Since the PAL-2 measurement range is 45.0 - 93.0% Brix, it can measure various high concentration samples such as jam, marmalade, jelly, honey, and concentrated juice. The PAL-2 international protection class is IP65, so it can be cleaned under running water. When making jam or marmalade, the PAL-2 provides consistent measurement results when measurements are repeated multiple times. "Zero setting" (calibration) is performed with water. The new PAL-2 refractometer fully covers PAL-1 functions.
